The wine “Scalunera” Rosso is made from two grades of grapes – Nerello Maskale and Nerello Kappuchio, grown on the unique terroir Torre Mora, characterising in terraced vineyards with black volcanic soil. The harvest is collected by hand, fermented with whole bunches. The wine is kept in oak barrels for 24 months. The young wine differentiates in freshness, aroma, soft, thin tannin’s. As the wine ages, the wine becomes more rich and saturated.
